This roleplaying forum is dead, it has been dead for a while now, and I've just stood by and watched. I cannot let this forum die, this is where I have developed my writing skills for over two years! This forum needs a good RP, and seeing as most of the people on here are new, the responsibility falls upon me, Prince Septim, to solve this crisis. Now, I must ask the sparse population of this desolate place that was once enjoyable, what should we do?

Do you want me to start an RP? If so, what type?

I will also post a few tips, the Roleplaying Academy hasn't been touched since last year.

Start an RP. And the type, try for a medieval-fantasy (this IS VU after all) adventure RP.

Rather than a revivification (which I think is highly unlikely), I'm viewing this as the Last Hurrah of the VU RP forum.

There are plenty of topics about tips on RPing, but people need to actually read them for any good to come from it.  If people don't want to read them, then they might as well stop trying.  I made plenty of RPs and people just lost interest and left, but I predicted the forum dying months ago...so don't say that no one saw this coming.  I have my life now, I informed Zeta that I have basically quit VU, and I asked to resign from my mod position weeks ago.

do another Werewolf on Corinatha or something... those were always interesting and fun...

Any will do, the forum simply needs something to get going.

When does summer start for you? It starts from 1st July for me it does.

My activity is severely limited now due to my internet problems. :'(

I would if I could, trust me. I need to figure out why the internet isn't working well.

About all I can do right now is join rps that someone else comes up with and keep my story going, which I actually need to update :P

If someone made a "proper" RP...it would most likely die from inactivity.  But if anyone is feeling brave and not going to suffer from emotional scars if it does fail, go right ahead. 

That is the curse of being a side-hobby for people playing VU.  When they have excess time, they come here and are active, but when the game requires more activity, they go inactive.  Even if I had an RP idea, I wouldn't waste it here because I can't trust people to be active here...I only know of maybe 1-2 people who would try keeping it alive, but it would just be so frustrating.  I gave up here after 4 RPs in a row died from inactivity or people having to be walked through everything.  People are just too narrow minded in my opinion...

I'll be writing one too this summer once I get more freetime :]

Or...you can just write a book like I am :)  Takes a lot of time...and lots of dedication or you will want to write parts of 5 different books....like me :)  I finished the first one at least.
